Inpatient Services

Description of Services

Medical-Surgical Unit
Consists of 25 beds including a 3-bed intensive care unit. There are also additional beds that are used for observation patients and same day surgery.

Intensive Care Unit
Specially trained Registered Nurses care for critically ill patients using advanced monitoring under the direct supervision of a physician.

Swing Bed Program
This is a program offering Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Services to help patients transition between acute care and home. To be eligible for our Swing Bed Program, the patient must have received care in an acute setting for at least 3 consecutive days, within the previous 30 days. The patient must be admitted under the care of one of our staff physicians.

Respite Care Program
The Respite Care Program is available as a short-term assistance to “homebound caregivers” and their loved ones, if beds are available. Potential respite care guests are individuals who cannot be left on their own because of their need for supervision and assistance. The hospital does not have a locked unit; if the guest wanders or needs constant supervision, the Respite Care Program may not be the appropriate service. Each situation is unique. We request that caregivers call to determine qualifications for our Respite Care Program. This program is not reimbursed by insurance companies.
